The Forge of the Magus

The Forge of the Magus is an ongoing fantasy novel I'm writing, currently being released twice-weekly on Scribblehub. Told over a number of distinct viewpoints, it's set in the world of the Grasp - surrounded by inhospitable wastelands, with magic held in the hands of a select few. Meriel is a girl from a village so obscure it doesn't even have a name, suddenly flung into the wider world when the secrets of her past come to the fore. Percy is the Captain of the City Guard in a place that's not known war in too many years to count - who suddenly finds himself forced to defend his homeland from threats stronger than he'd ever considered. Desmer is an Outlander, powerful in magic, certain he is the hero talked about in ancient Prophecy and prepared to invade and subjugate an entire continent to bring that prophecy to pass. Eada is a Magus, one of those who can touch the sidereal magic, suddenly finding herself alone with a mission to carry out that she never expected to have to face so soon.
