Helicent Loghire

Helicent was born in 666 BA, the only child of Nicodus and Carrette Loghire. Her mother worked for a time in the household staff of a faraway palace, and hoped to raise her daughter for something similar - but Helicent carved her own path. From an early age she saw the forests as a place of peace. She discovered that she had a special aptitude for hunting; at first she was mocked by the men of the Village, but some things speak for themselves - and even though she's not long turned eighteen years of age, Helicent is already regarded as the finest huntress the Village has known in a long time. She's close friends indeed with Meriel, with whom she spent most of her childhood, as well as Cad Mathe and Ancie Bayren.
