Desmer

Des​mer is a conqueror of a kind seldom seen. Born in the Grasp, he was taken and raised in the Outlands by a man named Gadsen, an unexciting beginning. As an adolescent, Desmer saw a star fall to earth, and when he gazed upon the fallen star he was given such power. Advised by a man who hid his face behind an azure mask, Desmer ascended to dominance in the Outlands. Those who defied him, and those who used magic, were slain. But Desmer came to believe that he was the hero foretold in a prophecy millennia ago - the only man who can unite the world of men and save it from the coming of the Elemental Lords. Gathering his armies, Desmer begins his conquest of the Grasp, to avenge the betrayal of King Fariel Torven - the last man to rule a united Grasp - and take Fariel's fabled throne for himself.
